<p>The countdown for the end of Fikayo Tomori's somewhat successful spell at AC Milan might have already begun with the Italian heavyweights ready to offload the English centre-back next summer, according to <a href="https://www.calciomercato.com/news/milan-tomori-puo-dire-addio-moncada-studia-tre-difensori-central-92126" target="_self">Calciomercato</a>. A return to the Premier League for the former Chelsea man could be on the cards.</p>

WHAT HAPPENED?

However, the soon to-be 27-year-old has lost his status as a starter under Paulo Fonseca in recent weeks. Such a situation has necessitated further evaluations of the player's future at the club, and Milan are increasingly leaning towards the possibility of offloading the Englishman next summer.</p>

<p>Calciomercato, in the same report, also revealed the names of three centre-backs who Milan's scouting department are keeping an eye on over a possible transfer next summer. They are Valencia's Cristhian Mosquera, Lille's Batode Diakite, and Sporting CP's Ivorian centre-back Ousmane Diamonde.</p>
