Al-Hilal just won't quit! Victor Osimhen receives an even bigger offer from Saudi Pro League giants as Galatasaray wait on striker's verdict amid Napoli agreement

<p>Osimhen is once again the subject of a blockbuster transfer saga. According to <a href="https://www.corrieredellosport.it/news/calcio/mondiale-club/2025/06/23-141537169/osimhen_offerta_shock_dell_al_hilal_di_inzaghi_il_napoli_aspetta_il_s" target="_blank"><em>Corriere dello Sport</em></a> Napoli's Nigerian striker has received a staggering offer from Al-Hilal: €40 million (£34m/$46m) per year for three years, with an optional fourth, totalling €160 million (£137m/$184m). This would make Osimhen one of the world's highest-paid footballers. Napoli are prepared to part ways with the forward if the €75m (£64m/$86m) foreign release clause is triggered.</p>

WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>The Nigerian international’s future remains undecided. While he previously turned down Al-Hilal’s initial approach, the club have reignited talks. Napoli are eager to finalise a sale to fund their summer rebuild and reduce the wage bill. Meanwhile, Galatasaray, who claim to have an agreement with Gli Azzurri, are growing frustrated with the delay as their own plans hinge on the striker’s decision.</p>

<p>When asked recently in Nigeria about his next move, Osimhen remained coy while speaking in an interview with a YouTube channel: "At the moment I am focused on the holidays, I am resting. We will see what happens.”</p><p>He also participated in a charity match organised by Nigeria team-mate William Troost-Ekong, offering no public comments on his club future.</p>
