Alejandro Garnacho's preferred destination revealed amid Chelsea & Napoli interest - with Man Utd exit now 'very likely'

<p>Per <a href="https://x.com/gastonedul/status/1881742824414277937" target="_blank">Gaston Edul</a>, who works for TyC Sports, Garnacho is nearing a move away from United. Napoli are said to be interested in a deal to secure the 20-year-old's services this month. To that end, they have tabled a bid worth around €45 million (£38m/$47m) but the offer has not yet been accepted.</p>

WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>Now it has emerged that Garnacho actually prefers a move to Chelsea, who have also been heavily linked. <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/alejandro-garnacho-agent-spotted-chelsea-amid-talk-gbp60m-january-move-man-utd/blt2aba4b1a0cce6958" target="_blank">His agent was spotted at Stamford Bridge during Chelsea's clash with Wolves</a>, amid talk of a potential £60m ($74m) bid from the west Londoners. Garnacho would, per the report, like to remain in England.</p>

<p>Garnacho has scored eight goals and laid on five assists in all competitions this season. He has been limited to just 11 Premier League starts, however, and has not registered a goal contribution in the top-flight since November 10.</p>
