<p>Garnacho has been caught by <a href="https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-14910199/Man-United-outcast-driving-illegally-Audi-Ruben-Amorim.html" target="_blank"><em>the Daily Mail</em></a> driving a car that is untaxed and therefore not legal to drive. The Argentina international is thought to have arrived at Carrington after head coach Ruben Amorim's departure, with his future seemingly lying away from Old Trafford.</p>

WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>The United Kingdom government's MOT registry shows tax has not been paid on the car having been due all the way back in October. The punishment for such breaches is a possible out of court settlement alongside a fine of £30 with one-and-a-half times the outstanding tax amount. If Garnacho does nothing, the situation could escalate to the point of a criminal offence at the magistrates' court, with the penalty either £1,000 or five times the amount of tax chargeable - whichever is the higher fee.</p>
