Onana has now been left out of United's squad for their clash against Newcastle on Sunday, according to multiple reports.</p>

<p>The <a href="https://www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/andre-onana-omitted-manchester-united-31411078" target="_blank"><em>Manchester Evening News</em></a> revealed that United and Amorim have afforded Onana a bit of leeway and decided to give the goalkeeper some time away ahead of the second leg of their Europa League quarter-final. According to reports, the Cameroonian is 'traumatised' after his wife, Melanie Kamayou, <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/andre-onana-wife-robbed-restaurant-car-park-man-charged-theft-62k-handbag-rolex/bltaf966ff0c178f25b" target="_blank">was mugged</a> after a thief took her Rolex watch and designer handbag, which were valued at tens of thousands of pounds, in the Cheshire village of Alderley Edge.</p>

<p>Per <a href="https://www.thetimes.com/article/1b4c4e1c-84b1-4d1e-a37e-f501c0a2c4a8?shareToken=ae4096f50f137166291cf4ec65d3ac2c" target="_blank"><em>The Times</em></a>, United boss Amorim is wary of the situation that has affected Onana and his family and sympathises with them; as such, he decided to give his goalkeeper some time off to clear his head. It had been reported earlier on Sunday that several of Onana's team-mates <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/man-utd-players-andre-onana-want-goalkeeper-dropped-losing-mind-games-nemanja-matic/blt06793c9ac58a6a7f" target="_blank">wanted him to be dropped</a> in light of his error-strewn season.</p>
