<p>Per <a href="https://x.com/TNTSportsBR/status/1845628359377621168" target="_blank">TNT Sports Brazil</a>, the Brazil Football Federation (CBF) have confirmed that Martinelli experienced calf pain and following an MRI scan on Sunday, it has come out that he has an Edema on his right calf. The player had tape on his calf during a training session and remains doubtful for the Selecao's upcoming World Cup qualifier against Peru on Wednesday.</p><p></p>

<p>The Brazilian's injury news comes as a major blow for the Gunners who are already dealing with <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/bukayo-saka-injury-update-arsenal-boost-star-leaves-england-squad-hamstring-scare/blt3a370bb1faeb67bf#cs68795eab2e5f200a" target="_blank">Bukayo Saka's injury</a>.
