<p>Conte confirmed on Saturday that Kvaratskhelia has informed the club he wants to leave in the January transfer window after <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/khvicha-kvaratskhelia-taken-out-of-the-spotlight-winger-dropped-by-napoli-as-psg-ramp-up-january-transfer-pursuit/blt4b3f2dc0b7af05ed#csab3229a4fd7c1343" target="_blank">leaving him out of Napoli's matchday squad for the upcoming Serie A clash against Hellas Verona</a>. Reports in Italy have suggested that Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain are closing in on a deal worth around €70 million (£59m/$71m) for the Georgia international.</p>

<p>With Kvaratskhelia on the verge of exiting the club, the Serie A side have started looking for the star attacker's replacements. According to <a href="https://www.sportitalia.it/2025/01/12/esclusiva-si-criscitiello-napoli-conte-ha-scelto-garnacho/" target="_blank"><em>Sport Italia's Michele Criscitiello</em></a>, Conte has identified <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/alejandro-garnacho-wouldnt-missed-man-utd-urged-keep-kobbie-mainoo/blt7ba4f95142662cce" target="_blank">Manchester United's Garnacho</a> as the perfect alternative. The report adds that Napoli sporting director Giovanni Manna has started working on opening transfer talks with the Red Devils.</p>
