<p>Antony moved to Betis on a six-month loan deal from United after the Brazilian lost his spot in the Red Devils' line-up this season. The Brazilian has been enjoying life at the Benito Villamarin under Manuel Pellegrini as he has brought up nine goal contributions in 18 games with the Verdiblancos.</p>

WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>Betis <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/man-utd-reject-new-antony-offer-real-betis-winger-s-future-hinging-la-liga-outfit-qualify-champions-league/blt180485506717745c" target="_blank">made their first bid for Antony earlier this week</a> as they want to sign the Brazilian on a season-long loan deal, however, the attempt was quickly turned down by United as they are keen on selling their winger as they look to recoup £30 million ($40m).</p>

<p><a href="https://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2025/04/25/man-utd-transfer-news-real-betis-antony-loan-amorim-la-liga/" target="_blank"><em>The Telegraph</em></a> has now reported that Real Betis are looking to make a new bid for Antony before the end of the season as they are certain that they do not want the Brazilian winger to join any other club this summer. The Seville club currently pay 84 per cent of Antony's salary plus bonuses and are prepared to offer new terms that would see them again cover the bulk of his wages.</p>

<p>It is clear that Amorim and United have no intentions of keeping Antony at the club this summer as they are looking to recoup as much of their £85m ($113m) fee that they paid Ajax in in 2022 to help them make a move for their summer targets, namely Matheus Cunha, Liam Delap or Ademola Lookman.</p>
