<p>Mead and Miedema endured a tough 2023, as both spent much of the yea<a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/arsenal-stars-beth-mead-vivianne-miedema-struggles-acl-injuries/blt49516ef1ba26b946#csd7a0ad12495dda67" target="_blank">r recovering from Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) injuries.</a> Both have now returned to action and recently launched a docuseries - Step by Step - that tells the story of their unique journey of recovery.</p>

THE BIGGER PICTURE

<p>After enjoying a well-earned Christmas break, Mead and Miedema will return to action when Arsenal take on Watford in the fourth round of the FA Women's Cup on January 14. After that, they'll have their eyes on catching Chelsea at the top of the Women's Super League table.</p>
