<p>The design has become synonymous with the Gunners’ away strips down the years, with some iconic teams of the past having worn such jerseys when chasing down Premier League titles and FA Cup glory.</p>

WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>Mikel Arteta’s class of 2025-26 will be doing likewise <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/arsenal-2025-26-kit-new-home-away-third-and-goalkeeper-jerseys-release-dates-shirt-leaks-and-prices/blt5ffa3a448e06c49c" target="_blank">when heading out on the road</a>. The north London outfit’s latest offering from adidas “draws inspiration from the famous Royal Arsenal Gatehouse lightning bolt, the navy shirt is adorned with metallic detailing and the sleeves feature the iconic adidas Three Stripes in red, adding a pop of colour and vibrancy”.</p>

WHAT RICE SAID

<p>Juergen Rank, senior design director at adidas, added: “For this season’s away shirt we wanted to create something nostalgic, leaning on the lightning bolt graphic and reinterpreting it in a fresh and contemporary way for the modern era of Arsenal supporters. The pattern and navy colourway have become synonymous with some of the club’s most iconic shirts of the past, and we hope supporters of the club love it as much as we do. We’re really excited to see it worn on-pitch and in the away stands this season.”</p>
