Barcelona reveal latest special Clasico shirt featuring singer Karol G's logo following Rolling Stones, Drake & Rosalia designs

The Colombian's logo - a barbed wire heart with her name in the centre - will first be seen on Barcelona Femeni's shirts in their Liga F clash with Villarreal on Saturday, April 13. The men's team will then wear jerseys bearing the design in their Clasico showdown with Real Madrid on Sunday, April 21, as <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/news/rebuilding-barcelona-spotify-sponsorship-first-step-laporta-grand-plan/blt9f20f8aef20986cd" target="_blank">the club's partnership with music streaming service Spotify rolls on</a>.

WHAT HAPPENED?

Karol G has earned the honour by being the most-streamed female Latin artist on Spotify for four years in a row, with her album 'Manana Sera Bonito' becoming the music service's most-listened-to Latin album in a single day by a female artist in March 2023. A limited run of the Nike home shirts featuring the singer's logo <a href="https://store.fcbarcelona.com/?ext=OCM_420&amp;utm_campaign=MenuWebBarca_ORG_BLM_HOME_OCM_webBarca_TXT_WW_EN&amp;utm_medium=Menu&amp;utm_source=WebBarca&amp;_gl=1*1aq4fik*_ga*MTM3MTQ0ODAyOS4xNzEyOTEwMjM5*_ga_XCQ7B6K8TL*MTcxMjkxMDIzOC4xLjAuMTcxMjkxMDIzOC4wLjAuMA..&amp;_ga=2.46775655.1739131431.1712910239-1371448029.1712910239" target="_blank">is available to buy online now</a>, as well as just 22 signed versions. A raft of merch including hoodies, scarves, beanies and water bottles has also been released alongside the jersey on <a href="https://shopkarolg.com/" target="_blank">the artist's official website</a>.

Speaking upon the release of the new shirt, Karol G said: "The heart symbol represents what became ‘Bichota’ style, a moment in my life where I found strength, resilience and support. Thanks to Spotify and FC Barcelona, seeing it on the front of a shirt that inspires so much of that same energy is truly meaningful."

This is the latest in a series of shirt design collaborations between Barca and main shirt sponsors Spotify. A big week is coming up for both Barcelona's men's and women's teams.
