<p><a href="https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/6077622/2025/07/19/marcus-rashford-barcelona-transfer/" target="_blank"><em>The Athletic</em></a> reported on Saturday that <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/marcus-rashford-to-barcelona-on-man-utd-accept-loan-proposal-transfer-nears-completion/blt6d60aa50643d2242#csed7aaa6a47d8d29e" target="_blank">Barcelona are negotiating a loan move for Rashford with Manchester United</a>, as they look to bolster their squad with an attacker who can operate from the left side. Manager Hansi Flick reportedly met the 27-year-old before giving his green light to the club to sign the forward.</p>

<p><a href="https://www.mundodeportivo.com/futbol/fc-barcelona/20250719/1002502829/detalles-opcion-compra-porcentaje-salario-renuncia-rashford.html" target="_blank"><em>Mundo Deportivo</em></a> has now revealed the details of Rashford's loan deal, which includes a significant pay cut for the England international. The Catalan giants do not have a compulsion to buy the player at the end of his loan spell next summer and even if they want to make the transfer permanent, they will have to pay €30 million (£26m/$34.8m). Rashford will also take a 25% pay cut in order to complete his dream move as Barcelona will not be able to register him on his current wages.</p>
