WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>Three days ago, Liverpool announced Dutch full-back Jeremie Frimpong, who was sold by Leverkusen to the Reds. But in the build-up to that social media post, Pool posted a small video clip of a Dutch flag positioned on a chair. Leverkusen, in return, today announced Flekken through a video, where he was seen entering the screen where the Dutch flag was placed on a chair. <p>Flekken, who maintained eight clean-sheets last season at Brentford, has eight international caps for the Netherlands, having debuted at the age of 28 in March 2022. He has joined the German side for a reported €10 million fee.</p>
