The Stars and Stripes have been crowned world champions four times, while the USMNT are yet to win a World Cup and have not been past the quarter-finals in over 90 years. The Celtics' post also serves to illustrate the lack of recognition for female athletes, no matter how successful they may have been during their career.</p>
