They went on to<a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/man-city-women-player-ratings-paris-vivianne-miedema-lionesses-jess-park-champions-league/blt8d71b6f18f9d7b1b" target="_blank"> win the match 5-0</a> without the Jamaican international but now manager Taylor has revealed that the prolific striker will available for the return leg on Thursday.</p>

WHAT HAPPENED?

WHAT TAYLOR SAID

<p>City are on the brink of returning to the Women's Champions League proper for the first time in three years following their thumping win in France last week. After falling in qualifying in recent seasons, Taylor's side are on the cusp of being back in the big time in Europe, as they hope to make their mark in the elite competition. And having Shaw - who was their top scorer last term - available is a huge boost for them going forward.</p>

<p>After hosting Paris FC on Thursday night, City entertain Brighton on Sunday as the WSL returns this weekend. City - who were pipped to the league title by Chelsea last season - drew their WSL opener 2-2 with Arsenal on Sunday.</p>
