<p>According to <a href="https://www.gazzetta.it/Calcio/Calciomercato/Inter/03-06-2025/inter-fabregas-arriva-se-inzaghi-non-rimane-il-personaggio.shtml" target="_blank"><em>La Gazetta dello Sport</em></a> the former Barcelona and Arsenal midfielder is at the top of the Nerazzurri's list of successors despite reports of him having <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/cesc-fabregas-leave-como-agrees-rb-leipzig-move-jurgen-klopp-meetings-serie-a-side-refuse-to-let-him-go/bltdc351c4d5862be47" target="_blank">agreed terms with RB Leipzig to take over as the manager from next season</a>.</p>

WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>Fabregas guided Como to 10th place in Serie A in their first season back in the Italian top flight. After Bayer Leverkusen and Leipzig, Inter are the latest team interested in luring the promising young coach. <p>Como returned to the top flight after a 21-year absence. A series of relegations had seen Como plummet to Serie D, the bottom tier of Italian football. After the Djarum group of Indonesia completed a takeover in 2019, the club attained promotion to Serie A in 2024, making the Hartono brothers the richest owners in Serie A.</p>
