We've reached the business end of the Champions League, with just eight teams remaining after a round of 16 that featured a couple of titanic encounters that had to be settled on penalties. Paris Saint-Germain deservedly edged out Liverpool at Anfield thanks to their giant in between the sticks, Gigi Donnarumma, but Real Madrid's triumph over Atletico Madrid was less merited and a lot more controversial...
Elsewhere, Barcelona beat Benfica with predictable ease while it wasn't in the least bit surprising to see Arsenal annihilate PSV on aggregate or Inter cruise past Feyenoord. However, it was shocking to see just how comfortably Bayern Munich dealt with Xabi Alonso's Bayer Leverkusen, and the Bavarians' triumph marked them out as serious contenders.
Borussia Dortmund weren't anywhere near as dominant in defeating Lille, but deserve credit for battling through given the topsy-turvy nature of their campaign, while the presence of Aston Villa, who overcame Club Brugge in the last 16, is an incredible story, given this is their first appearance in the European Cup since 1983.
