<p>According to <a href="https://www.sport1.de/news/fussball/klub-wm/2025/06/ratsel-um-chukwuemeka-spielt-er-heute-zum-letzten-mal-fur-den-bvb" target="_blank"><em>Sport1 Germany</em></a>, Dortmund want to keep the English midfielder until the culmination of their exploits at the tournament. However, with Chukwuemeka's loan expiring at the end of June and the German club not willing to sign him on a permanent basis, Dortmund will have to find a compromise with Chelsea, his parent club.</p>

WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>The Blues are willing to work out a way with Dortmund, but have made it clear it would involve payment. <p>Chukwuemeka arrived at Signal Iduna Park in the winter transfer window. The 21-year-old English midfielder ticked all the boxes for Dortmund, who wanted a player who can control the game in the middle and has an eye for exceptional passes.
