<p>The Blues are keen to make another forward signing before the Club World Cup begins next week, after Jadon Sancho's loan spell from Manchester United came to an end. <a href="https://www.bild.de/sport/fussball/bvb-dortmund-star-vor-60-mio-abgang-683ffce1b6e89412e7631da5" target="_blank">Bild </a>in Germany report that the deal could move rapidly this week.</p>

WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>It had initially been reported that <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/chelsea-ramp-up-jamie-gittens-pursuit-uncertainty-jadon-sancho-future-in-on-liam-delap-transfer/blt47c60a03ae722796" target="_blank">Gittens' release clause sits at roughly €67m</a>. Bild state that the figure is much higher than <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/chelsea-ramp-up-jamie-gittens-pursuit-uncertainty-jadon-sancho-future-in-on-liam-delap-transfer/blt47c60a03ae722796" target="_blank"></a>€60m - but that Dortmund may still be happy to sell for around that amount after the winger's average performances in the second half of the 2024-25 season.</p>

<p>Bild add that Gittens is very keen on the move back to the club where he spent time as a child. He has informed Dortmund of his decision and looks set to leave the club he has scored 17 goals for in 106 appearances.</p>
