The defeat has piled more pressure on Pochettino, who is not guaranteed a second season at the club yet, according to <a href="https://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2024/04/24/mauricio-pochettino-not-safe-beyond-summer-chelsea-defeat/" target="_blank">The Telegraph</a>. No decision has yet been taken on his future, although he does still retain some support at Stamford Bridge despite a desperately poor season.

WHAT HAPPENED?

Arsenal recorded their biggest-ever victory against Chelsea across all competitions on Tuesday. This was also the Blues' heaviest defeat in a London derby since losing 6-0 to Queens Park Rangers in March 1986.
