This led to a stampede of blue shirts heading towards the officials at full-time, with Noni Madueke picking up a caution for getting up close and personal with referee Craig Pawson. The players had to be physically dragged away by members of staff to avoid any further punishment.</p>

WHAT CONOR GALLAGHER SAID

<p>Mauricio Pochettino's side still have a chance of finishing inside the top seven in the Premier League but will need to beat rivals Tottenham on Thursday if they are to stay within touching distance of Newcastle.
