On Thursday, the club officially announced a contract extension for defender Israel Reyes through 2028, while also confirming the permanent signing of Chilean forward Víctor Dávila, who is now tied to the club until 2027.</p><p>Dávila arrived from CSKA Moscow in September 2024 on a loan deal that included a mandatory purchase clause, triggered either by the completion of certain performance objectives or simply after one year. That clause has now been activated, finalizing a transfer worth close to $8 million. Since his arrival, the 26-year-old has featured in 27 matches, scoring nine goals, including seven in the current Clausura 2025 campaign. He has already added a league title to his resume with <em>Las Águilas</em>.</p><p>Meanwhile, Reyes, who has made 98 appearances for the club and played a crucial role in América’s three consecutive league titles, has solidified his place in the team’s future.
