<p>According to German journalist Christian Falk, Bayern have identified <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/bayern-munich-add-liverpool-star-transfer-targets/blt8849bef553772559#cs04db1df558c6ccdf" target="_blank">Gakpo as a top target</a> after accepting their impending defeat to sign Bayer Leverkusen's Florian Wirtz, who appears to be <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/liverpool-confident-wrapping-up-florian-wirtz-transfer-contract-done-bayer-leverkusen-sensation-desire/blt5f6033e67afbd84f" target="_blank">edging closer to a move to Liverpool.</a> The appeal for Bayern lies in Gakpo’s ability to fill multiple roles in attack. He could operate on the left flank or as a secondary striker behind Harry Kane, offering both tactical flexibility and additional firepower. However, any deal for Gakpo would require the German club to commit a fee in the region of €50 million (£42 million).</p>
