Manchester City have reportedly <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/man-city-agree-gbp59m-ac-milan-star-tijjani-reijnders-pep-guardiola-first-major-summer-signing/blt7e7c805b8c4bafec#cs0460e8fb687677c8" target="_blank">agreed a £59m deal for AC Milan star Tijjani Reijnders</a>, as Guardiola is set to wrap up his first major summer signing, but the club is yet to officially announce a confirmed signing.Xavi Simons has emerged as a <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/back-up-man-city-transfer-alternative-rayan-cherki-pep-guardiola-rebuild/bltfe2aaaa98356f844#cs307e8ad67081d1ea" target="_blank">possible alternative if an agreement cannot be reached with Rayan Cherki</a> of Lyon.In other news, City is reportedly making progress in their pursuit of Wolves' left-back, Rayan Ait-Nouri, with Newcastle's Tino Livramento also viewed as an option in that position.
