CONCACAF Ranks 2025GOAL

CONCACAF Player Power Rankings: USMNT's Christian Pulisic stays on top, Canada’s Jonathan David closes in, Raúl Jiménez leads the way for Mexico

Who is the best player in CONCACAF? Is it AC Milan and U.S. men's national team star Christian Pulisic? Or could Canada and Bayern Munich's Alphonso Davies be No. 1? Heading into the CONCACAF Nations League semifinals in March, what do Mexico's top stars have to say about that?

The debate rages on in this region, and rightfully so. Fewer than 500 days out from the World Cup, there is a lot of attention on the region - especially with the U.S., Canada, and Mexico hosting in 2026.

Answering the question isn't easy. CONCACAF has arguably never been deeper. For years, North America has been dominated by the U.S. men's national team and Mexico, but no longer. The improvements made by teams like Jamaica, Canada, and Panama have made this debate interesting, particularly due to the presence of their own top-level players.

When evaluating the best, several factors come into play, but none more than form - for both club and country. The truly great players deliver no matter the jersey. That’s what sets them apart. So who are the great players in CONCACAF right now and, more importantly, who is the best? GOAL takes a look.
