De Gea is thought to be considering his options after spending a year without a club since leaving <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/team/manchester-united/6eqit8ye8aomdsrrq0hk3v7gh" target="_self">Manchester United</a>. The Spaniard has teased a return to the game in recent weeks by posting training footage of himself on social media. But he was previously reluctant to take the Saudi Arabia plunge, with longstanding interest from clubs in the super wealthy Gulf nation.
