‘It would hurt’ – Danny Dyer names two clubs he’d allow future son-in-law Jarrod Bowen to join if big-money transfer bids were tabled for West Ham captain

<p>Actor Dyer, who is Bowen's future father-in-law, was quizzed about which teams he would begrudgingly accept the England international joining if a big money transfer came his way. He admitted Real Madrid would be too good an opportunity to turn down and he wouldn't mind if the 28-year-old joined Manchester City, either.</p>

WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>Asked if Bowen would ever go to Arsenal, Dyer told<a href="https://talksport.com/football/2997947/danny-dyer-west-ham-jarrod-bowen/" target="_blank"> talkSPORT</a>: “He’s never going to do that, why would he? What’s in it for him?</p><p>"Real Madrid? Yeah, for sure."</p><p>On City, he added: “Listen, it’s his career. City? I wouldn’t mind that, I’d suffer that. I’m not going to lie, it would hurt, but he’s a grown man and he makes his own decisions. It would obviously hurt, but of course I would be over the moon for him.”</p>

WHAT DANNY DYER SAID

<p>Dyer is a huge admirer of Bowen - who has two kids with his daughter Dani - so much so that he has said West Ham should <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/jarrod-bowen-danny-dyer-statue-built-west-ham-captain-father-of-grandchildren-class-above-everyone-kylian-mbappe/blt1139b96418cd8583" target="_blank">build a statue of him</a>. He added that he wouldn't swap the <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/dani-dyer-plans-to-marry-west-ham-england-star-jarrod-bowen-romantic-proposal-in-ibiza/bltb0dc33e04357e2fb" target="_blank">"father of his grandchildren"</a> for anyone, so the aforementioned interview would have been difficult for him.</p>
