WHAT HAPPENED?

Dike returned from a nine-month layoff just one month ago after undergoing Achilles tendon surgery after suffering a brutal injury last campaign for West Brom. In the five matches he has played in for West Brom, across all competitions, since returning from injury, he scored one goal.Now, his status going forward is uncertain, and with both the Olympic Games and Copa America this summer for the USMNT, it could be a brutal blow.

Speaking postgame, the Baggies boss said: "The injury is to the left foot, the same place as his Achilles injury. WHAT WEST BROM BOSS CARLOS CORBERAN SAID

This is the fifth injury that Dike has suffered in his young career so far. He only turned 23 in June of last year.
