<p>According to <a href="https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/32164355/david-beckham-man-utd-receptionist-kath-phipps/" target="_blank"><em>The Sun</em></a><em>, </em>Beckham travelled to see her just two weeks before her death, sharing an emotional moment with the woman who had been an integral part of his early years at the club.</p><p>“David made it his mission to go to see Kath at home. It was an incredibly emotional moment," a source said.</p>

BECKHAM'S TRIBUTE TO PHIPPS

<p>Manchester United have also announced plans to honour Phipps' memory. Ahead of their Premier League clash against Nottingham Forest at Old Trafford, a minute of applause will take place to commemorate her remarkable contributions. The players will don black armbands during the match as a mark of respect. Similarly, the club's women’s team will pay their tributes when they face Liverpool in a Women’s Super League match at Leigh Sports Village on Sunday.</p>
