Van de Beek's feeble start to life at Eintracht Frankfurt continued on Friday as he was substituted at half-time having been unable to impose himself on the game. <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/fresh-start-donny-van-de-beek-man-utd-outcast-completes-loan-transfer-eintracht-frankfurt-eur14m-buy-option/blt956e4aff164c5577" target="_blank">Since joining on loan from United</a>, Van de Beek has started two of the Bundesliga side's three games but offered little to suggest he will continue to start. The Dutchman was replaced by Fares Chaibi and Frankfurt went on to win the game 1-0.

If Van de Beek expected his troubles to disappear as soon as he departed United, he may be disappointed. However, with his loan lasting just until the end of the season, he will have to improve if the move is to be made permanent.
