Douglas Luiz to make Premier League return?! Juventus midfielder linked with swap deal that would take him to Newcastle and leave partner Alisha Lehmann alone in Turin

<p>According to <a href="https://www.calciomercato.com/news/douglas-luiz-al-newcastle-tonali-alla-juventus-chi-ci-guadagna-l-56455" target="_blank">Calciomercato,</a> Newcastle United's Sandro Tonali could head to Juventus and midfielder Luiz could go the opposite way as part of a swap deal this summer.</p>

WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>Football power couple <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/douglas-luiz-alisha-lehmann-juventus-couples-transfer-disaster/blt63699ef64b8d6d97" target="_blank">Luiz and Lehmann left Aston Villa for Juventus</a> last summer but while the <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/really-cool-team-alisha-lehmann-opens-up-on-life-at-juventus-swiss-star-aiming-swift-return-injury/blt40f1dc67ef9f5ec2" target="_blank">Swiss has enjoyed her time there</a>, the Brazilian is not getting much of a look-in. And the partners may be playing in different countries next season if these rumours come to pass. </p>

THE BIGGER PICTURE

<p>Luiz has made 22 appearances for Juventus since his £42 million ($55m)&nbsp;move less than a year ago but just six of those have been in the starting XI. As a result, he may well be minded to seek pastures new. It is unclear if Newcastle would also want to sign Lehmann; their women's side play in the second-tier. </p>
