Eze has been a target for plenty of teams in recent years but with his contract having just two years remaining on it, the Eagles may consider cashing in on their superstar, with Eddie Howe and Newcastle very interested in the midfielder alongside Mikel Arteta's Arsenal.</p>

WHAT HAPPENED?

Should that be the case, the Magpies boss is keen to activate Eze's reported £60million (€70m/$76m) and help him realise his full potential at a club playing regular European football. It is likely that Eze will only come if one of Newcastle's stars depart, due to financial fair play restrictions.</p>

<p>Arsenal also have a strong interest in the England international, but have plenty of other targets - including Nico Williams and Victor Gyokeres - on their list, which could leave Newcastle in the driving seat to pursue Eze's signature. </p>
