Following a light warm-down session on Monday morning, the players enjoyed a laid-back day at the team hotel with Sheeran serenading them with an acoustic performance in the games area of the Spa &amp; Golf Resort Weimarer Land hotel.

Sheeran had also visited the squad during the last European Championship, where England reached the final but ultimately lost on penalties to Italy. The British singer has been in Germany for the last few days and was spotted dancing with joy in the stands at AufSchalke after<a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/england-labelled-boring-gareth-southgate-told-they-can-still-go-on-to-triumph-at-euro-2024/bltf8fef8d9ee0f73b1" target="_blank"> Jude Bellingham's acrobatic scissor kick</a> against Slovakia prevented England from bowing out of the tournament.

In addition to arranging special events, Southgate has opened the camp to family visits after matches. These visits have been instrumental in maintaining high spirits within the squad given that they have been together for more than a month since their initial meet-up at Rockcliffe Park near Darlington.
