<p>Jobe has shown a lot of talent with Sunderland this season as the Black Cats battle it out in the Championship to gain promotion to the Premier League. The 19-year-old looks set to follow his elder brother Jude's footballing path, with <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/borussia-dortmund-jobe-bellingham-bundesliga-reignite-interest-sunderland-expect-star-leave-summer/bltaa790b1cd8b3a22e" target="_blank">Borussia Dortmund said to be interested in signing him</a>. WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>Speaking at the EFL Awards, Jobe said: "I’m grateful to win the award. It’s been a really good season, and I’ve just tried to learn from my teammates and do the best I can.</p><p>"I’ve learnt a lot from the gaffer, he has brought great structure to our team. I've learned a lot out of possession. I’ve got a lot bigger physically, which has helped as well, and I feel like I’ve progressed a lot</p><p>"It’s great to play for a club as big as Sunderland. It’s a huge opportunity to play in front of such a huge fan base every week, they're so passionate. Hopefully, we can end the season on a high now. Playing in the Premier League, especially for Sunderland, is a massive motivation. In my eyes, they deserve to be in the Premier League."</p>

WHAT JOBE SAID

<p>Wrexham stars Ryan Barnett and Max Cleworth were also recognised during the EFL Awards as they were named in the League One Team of the Season, while Birmingham City's Christoph Klarer, Alex Cochrane and Tomoki Iwata also took up spots. However, the Red Dragons, who claimed their third straight promotion, saw boss Phil Parkinson snubbed for the League One Manager of the Season award as Birmingham's Chris Davies was selected instead. Burnley boss Scott Parker was named Championship manager of the season, with Sheffield United's Gustavo Hamer taking the senior Player of the Season award.
