Marmoush was part of a major January recruitment drive for City, <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/omar-marmoush-europe-elite-sign-new-mohamed-salah-eintracht-frankfurt-bundesliga/blt6fdf46d68282006a" target="_blank">arriving from Eintracht Frankfurt for €70 million (£59m/$73m)</a>. The striker had not netted in his first four appearances in all competitions for the club but has impressed with his performances, finally netting on Saturday.

City's 2024-25 title hopes may be over but Marmoush looks set to star for the club for several seasons to come. The forward is already in illustrious company in scoring a Premier League hat-trick so quickly and a strike partnership with Erling Haaland could prove to be the envy of the rest of the division.
