<p>There were reports of violence in Gelsenkirchen in the hours before the game, which England went on to win <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-in/lists/jude-bellingham-leaves-gareth-southgate-in-awe-another-decisive-display-to-fire-england-to-victory/bltf1e22f465598c329" target="_blank">courtesy of Jude Bellingham's early goal</a>. It was later reported by local authorities that seven Serbian citizens and one from England were taken into custody. A criminal complaint was also filed for grievous bodily harm. It was confirmed that no Albanian citizens were involved, despite some social media claims of such.</p>

WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>Ahead of the game, footage was circulating that appeared to show a mass brawl outside a restaurant, which included chairs and furniture being thrown. Police had to step in to restore calm. <p>There is currently a UK police presence in Germany assisting the local authorities while the tournament is ongoing. They have pledged to to issue bans to any English fans found to be involved in unrest and violence.</p>
