The Norwegian had been on the end of <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/league-two-player-roy-keane-savage-erling-haaland-man-city-arsenal-man-utd/blt20123f5b69dd5a88" target="_blank">stinging criticism</a> within the last few weeks from the former Manchester United captain, who<a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/erling-haaland-complicated-history-man-utd-bitter-rivals-man-city/blt86adf9bfb9aca6a5" target="_blank"> famously injured his father Alfe-Inge in 2001 </a>during a derby. But Haaland was back to his brutal best against Wolves, his haul taking his tally for the season to 25 Premier League goals.

"I really don't care about that man," Haaland told Viaplay when asked about Keane's continued criticism of the City and Norway superstar despite his impressive goal tally over the course of the season.

WHAT HAALAND SAID

Keane had compared <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/roy-keane-right-erling-haaland-man-city-striker-all-round-game-nowhere-near-world-class/blt3891432443b734d2#cs377fbe342af9cc90">Haaland's build-up play</a> to that of a League Two striker after a <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/man-city-player-ratings-vs-arsenal-erling-haaland-phil-foden/blt3a7762cfb39bd9bf">quiet display against Arsenal</a>. He then joked that he was <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/roy-keane-erling-haaland-championship-level-man-city-league-two-jibe/blt2e8fc163e50efc25" target="_blank">more like a Championship striker</a> after he scored against Nottingham Forest last week. City boss Pep Guardiola admitted that Haaland had needed time to recover from the foot injury he sustained in December due to his height but said he was delighted with his performance against Wolves. The manager said: "He was injured, an important one, he's so tall and you need time, he's not like Julian [Alvarez] or Phil [Foden] who with nothing can be ready. The penalties are not easy but the second and the fourth was unbelievable. Really pleased for him."
