Days on from that blow, the striker has been pictured with girlfriend Isabell Haugseng and their young son in Marbella, Spain, this week. WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>Despite City's struggles in 2024/25, Haaland has still scored 30 goals for them. If Pep Guardiola's men want to qualify for next season's Champions League and win the FA Cup, it will be an awful lot harder to do without the big forward.</p>

THE BIGGER PICTURE

<p>Guardiola said earlier this week that Haaland would be sidelined for between <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/man-city-worst-fears-confirmed-erling-haaland-ankle-injury-return-timeframe-revealed-pep-guardiola/bltd916ab3d7bc7d2fa#cs8f5764274b8f7448" target="_blank">five to seven weeks</a>. If it is the latter, the ex-Borussia Dortmund star may miss the rest of the regular season.</p>
