<p>Gyokeres announced himself on the European stage with a sensational hat-trick against City, but Haaland sank into darkness after a miserable night in Lisbon as Pep Guardiola's men suffered a third <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/man-city-player-ratings-vs-sporting-cp-erling-haaland-phil-foden-viktor-gyokeres/blt8172f07d97e77c94#cs0f481d5a5dc073cd" target="_blank">successive defeat for the first time since April 2018.</a></p>

In fact, there have been only two matches where he has failed to find the net.</p>
