<p>Paratici stepped down from his role at <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/news/fabio-paratici-gone-tottenham-director-football-steps-back-outcome-appeal-worldwide-football-ban/blt159692ded78ff81e" target="_blank">Tottenham in March 2023</a> after <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/news/tottenham-chaos-fabio-paratici-ban-global-30-months-new-manager-turmoil/bltf1f42949aea58b11" target="_blank">being handed a 30-month ban.</a> The Italian was sanctioned for his role in alleged financial irregularities during his time at Serie A giants Juventus. Paratici was one of several former and current Juventus executives to be punished, with his sanction seeing him forced out of football for a significant period.</p>

WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>Paratici's ban is now over, meaning he is available to return to work and could soon be back at Tottenham, according to <a href="https://sport.sky.it/calciomercato/2025/07/20/fabio-paratici-squalifica-news" target="_blank">Sky Sport Italia</a>. His bond with the club is said to be "very strong" and may well see Daniel Levy re-appoint Paratic for a second spell. The 53-year-old was spotted watching <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/fabio-paratici-tottenham-europa-league-final-manchester-united-north-london/blt420c762a6aded788#cs1792af99e32bf552" target="_blank">Spurs beat Manchester United in the Europa League final in May </a>and he could now head back to the Premier League side on a permanent basis to work with new manager Thomas Frank.</p>

<p>Paratic seems keen to return to work as soon as possible. He said: "I never stopped thinking about football... I never lost the sense of belonging to my world."&nbsp;</p>

WHAT PARATICI SAID

<p>Fans will have to wait and see what Paratici plans to do next but a return to Tottenham may well be on the cards. Spurs will play Champions League football in 2025-26, after beating United in the Europa League final, and started off their pre-season preparations with a 2-0 win over Reading in Frank's first game in charge.</p>
