His presence appears to validate recent reports that he could return to the club, with the same publication claiming earlier that this month that the chances of it happening are "increasingly strong".</p>

<p>Paratici worked for the club from 2021 until he left in 2023 due to his involvement in the <em>Plusvalenze </em>investigation, a financial scandal that hit Italian football. <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/news/tottenham-chaos-fabio-paratici-ban-global-30-months-new-manager-turmoil/bltf1f42949aea58b11" target="_blank">He was handed a 30-month ban from football</a> but could return to the club in a director role when the suspension ends on July 20.</p>
