The 22-year-old looks set for a temporary move to relegation-threatened Granada, with United seemingly deciding against finding a permanent transfer for the player. The move will be the player's third loan move to Spain having played for Alaves in two separate spells. Pellistri had been linked with a host of clubs from <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-ug/lists/erik-ten-hag-axe-man-utd-outcast-facundo-pellistri-exit-villarreal-eye-up-move/bltb51a6b5dc0fd7a76" target="_blank">Villarreal</a> to <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-ug/lists/red-devil-david-beckham-zlatan-ibrahimovic-la-galaxy-mls-man-utd-facundo-pellistri/blt24412cb87cabd285" target="_blank">LA Galaxy</a> but it seems he may have one last opportunity to make it at Old Trafford if he can impress in Andalucia.

Pellistri has struggled to make an impression in Manchester after joining from Peñarol for a fee of £9 million ($11.4m) in 2020. The Uruguayan has been largely limited to appearances from the bench and has only earned a Premier League start on one solitary occasion against Crystal Palace in September.Pellistri will hope a successful spell at Granada combined with Sir Jim Ratcliffe's overhaul of United's <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-in/lists/six-things-sir-jim-ratcliffe-ineos-fix-man-utd-minority-stake/blta8da6763fd21d978" target="_blank">dysfunctional performance structures</a> will allow him to return with a chance of finally establishing himself as a first-team presence.
