The move comes after Ansu <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-in/lists/ansu-fati-monaco-player-medical-unveiling-scheduled-barcelona-reach-agreement-ligue-1-side/blta6fcb791de2b7f22" target="_blank">Fati’s loan move to Monaco</a>, officially vacating the number. While Fati had worn the shirt since Messi's departure, Barcelona froze the number during his last loan spell.</p>
