And Xavi promised that his side won't look to sit on their lead.

That was very important for us as a club."

The Blaugrana are on the verge of qualifying for the Champions League semi-final for the first time in five years. It would seem to be the most obvious route to silverware for Xavi's side, who are eight points off the top of La Liga with seven games remaining.

The Blaugrana are set to host PSG on Tuesday night in the Champions League. After that, they will travel to the Santiago Bernabeu for the second league Clasico of the season. A win there could bring them within five points of their arch-rivals, and keep them in title contention.
