The centre-back was selected to take a doping test after his team's Euro 2024 clash in Dortmund on Tuesday, <a href="https://www.lequipe.fr/Football/Actualites/Saliba-a-manque-le-car-a-cause-du-controle-antidopage-apres-france-pologne/1477524" target="_blank">L'Equipe</a> reports. However, the test took longer than expected and he could not board the team bus when it left the stadium at 9pm. Instead, Saliba finally departed around 10.30pm in a van accompanied by members of the French team's staff.

Saliba and his France team-mates welcomed family members to their training camp in Bad Lippspringe on Tuesday evening after the match and they will then start preparing for the Euro 2024 round of 16.
