<p>League One side Plymouth are in talks with an an investment group regarding a potential takeover, according to <a href="https://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2025/06/16/gareth-bale-us-takeover-plymouth-argyle/" target="_blank"><em>The Telegraph</em></a>. Bale has been lined up to front the US-based group in a bid to add some glamour to the bid. <p>Plymouth Argyle chairman Simon Hallett has been searching for investment and revealed only last month that a bid had fallen through.
