After signing with super agent <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-us/lists/usmnt-gio-reyna-jorge-mendes-cristiano-ronaldo-dortmund/bltdc5ba02f2a1544f9" target="_blank">Jorge Mendes</a> earlier this week, Reyna is already drawing suitors for a January move away from Dortmund. The latest team showing interest is Real Sociedad, per <a href="https://www.noticiasdegipuzkoa.eus/reala/2024/01/12/mercado-fichajes-real-sociedad-giovanni-reyna-borussia-dortmund-7735345.html" target="_blank">Noticias de Gipuzkoa</a> in Spain.

WHAT HAPPENED?

Reyna has been struggling for minutes all season long, earning just one start for Edin Terzic in competitive fashion. Now, with the arrival of J<a href="https://www.goal.com/en-us/lists/gio-reyna-jadon-sancho-borussia-dortmund-transfer-usmnt/blt88c84e1c4dc39686" target="_blank">adon Sancho on loan from Manchester United</a>, the USMNT star is being pushed even further down the pecking order. A move away seems to be the best option for both parties.

Reyna has seven goals in 24 caps on the international stage with the USMNT. He has come through the Dortmund academy and has made 118 appearances in all competitions.
