Brendan Rodgers praised the 27-year-old’s performance and wonder strike, believing that it showcases the confidence the defender is playing with.</p><p>“It shows his confidence,” Rodgers said on Celtic TV. "It is important you play against Kilmanrock and your center halves will have space, you know, the man marking what normally happens is in the fact that the spare man is unmarked so you get the chance to carry the ball in. And obviously we forced them back. But no-one ever would have thought from that distance he would have gotten the strike, but it’s a great hell of a strike and brilliant goal.”</p>
