Walker and Goodman have been embroiled in a lengthy court battle over the two children the couple share together. The four-year legal wrangle has now come to an end with a judge ruling in the Manchester City star's favour. A statement from Walker's camp was released after the ruling and took aim at Goodman.

WHAT HAPPENED?

A spokeswoman for Walker told <a href="https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-13688383/Kyle-Walker-Lauryn-Goodman-court-statement-full.html" target="_blank">MailOnline</a>: "This judgment speaks for itself in laying bare Lauryn Goodman's insatiable greed and relentless pursuit of money.The judge made it clear: she used Kyle as an open ended cheque book and repeatedly threatened him in order to get what she wanted. She then orchestrated a media campaign to feed intolerable and wrongful intrusion into the private lives of Kyle, Annie and their young family. Throughout each court proceeding the judge stated that Kyle adopted a fair and generous stance. These proceedings were never necessary. Kyle's offer should have been accepted months ago and would therefore have eliminated the need for added stress to all involved. In light of this judgment and the truths it makes public, my client and his family now ask that the media fully respects their rights to a private life as they navigate their next steps."

WHAT HAS BEEN SAID

Details of the case have since emerged after Judge Edward Hess lifted reporting restrictions. Documents show Walker shelled out after receiving all sorts of demands from Goodman, according to <a href="https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/29401534/lauryn-goodman-loses-court-case-kyle-walker-demands/" target="_blank">The Sun</a>. These included a "housing budget" of £2.4m ($3m), another £30,000 ($38k) for air conditioning, a £70,000 ($89k) car allowance (to be replaced every three years), another £30,000 ($38k) car for the nanny (who didn't drive), and a £22,000 ($28k) furnishing fund. Goodman also demanded an £31,200 ($40k) astroturf pitch after baby Kinara had shown the potential to become a Lioness.

THE GOSSIP

Walker is believed to earn £150,000-a-week with Manchester City. He also has a further four children with <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/kyle-walker-wife-annie-kilner-man-city-star-last-chance-save-marriage-rules/blt1c18189230d7e5fe#csc41a99557be92094" target="_blank">wife Annie Kilner.</a>

Both sides have until August 13 to appeal, although Walker told reporters as he left the court: "I hope you enjoyed yourselves - I won't be back here again."
