Despite that, manager Flick didn't lay into his "intense" midfielder, and believes he can learn from the red card.</p>

<p>He said after the win: "Fermín's goal is very important. He is a very intense player and these things happen. It is also a good lesson for him. It will serve him well in the future."</p>

WHAT HANSI FLICK SAID

While Lopez is now set to serve a ban, the Blaugrana are now just two points behind La Liga leaders Real Madrid after looking out of the title race not long ago.</p>
